Real Player % quick question

What exactly is real player % in regards to game sliders? What does it do. If its not on shot stick timing, then its almost like your not even playing the game, your letting the CPU play it for you. Its like there is no skill involved. What is the real player %, im very confused. Thanks

Both are based on ratings and hotzones but shot stick also has a modifier for release point. If you had a perfect release you would shoot better than someone using real player %, if a poor release it would be worse. People using real shot % effectively are taking the middle road by using it.

Re: Real Player % quick question

Real Player % attempts to determine whether a shot goes in or not for you. You can't just chuck up a random shot off the dribble and have the same chance of it going in as a wide-open straight jumper. Fadeaways, stepbacks, etc. are all less likely to go in than straight jumpers. I stopped using shot stick timing because of the ridiculous numbers I got when I used it in 2K11, like 97% FT shooting with Zach Randolph and 66% 3-point with Rudy Gay.
