Just out of curiosity...

What happens when a player runs out of energy? What's the lowest it can go? Are there any negatives of letting them play with low energy? I tend to keep my players in pretty good shape in case something happens, ideal times to sub in and out?

I dont think theres any guidelines on when to sub. 65-70 is when I usually sub. I try to call timeouts though. I usually run my first unit (if producing) to about 4 minutes. Move Melo to PF and play him the full first. At the end of 1 I put Amare back at PF and keep the second unit in. Switch back at about the 8 minute mark but dont replace Melo till the 4 minute mark. This lets most my starts run about 30-32 minutes per game.

This is just an outline obviously. Production, match ups, and fouls will always force me to change it up. Sorry if its confusing.

This year you can actually see that low energy affects your players stats. If your 80 rated player is around 50 energy and you go to the sub screen, you will notice he will be in red and have roughly a 50 overall. Its pretty intense on how much worse they make players because they are tired, but I really like it. In the past it made them worse, but it never actually showed you.

ive never seen a player lose 30 points off his overall due to fatigue. usually i see that my tired players have gone down 3 or 4 points when i go to the sub screen. definitely not 30 points though.
