I think it would be best if trade value was determined by player performance rather than just a few stars and an overall rating.

Some players in 2K are very over-hyped in the game due to overall rating, as this would also sort that out.

Just imagine how much more authentic the game would feel, I mean how is Serge Ibaka have 2 1/2 stars (trade value)? And how does Terrance Ross have such a low trade value? The kid has insane potential and plenty of teams would trade for him, if they had the chance. In my association he is averaging 15 points and 5 boards a game, and he is only a rookie, and yet he only has like 2 stars...

I think it would be great if the trade system was revamped, as some trades in this game are just absurd.

Are you making the argument that Terrence Ross would be more valuable to a franchise than Serge Ibaka?????
