I always make myself black in MyPlayer mode. It started out because 2k made it really hard to make a decent looking white guy but now I have a certain character I always make. Huge black guy but with my blue eyes. Figure he has some Jamaican in him. He's a beast. All tattooed up as well. Here's a pic. Oh, and before someone asks if his last name is Black because of his color the answer is no. That is my last name. Irish decent.

Well im black and ive made a white guy before lol but it really doesnt suit the voice over in the post game speeches.

I'm black but once I made a white character named "Larry Bird Jr" and basically I was trying to continue the legacy while sharing game recaps with the community. It was a cool idea but it eventually got deleted because I saved over it on accident.
