Why did 2k make jumpshots so easy in 2k13?

after MANY games online and offline ive noticed some hidden mechanics 2k has that keeps scores close and the game more "exciting" . most jumphot releases are button taps especially superstar players ( CP3, kobe, melo) which makes is way to easy to get perfect releases even on tough defense, Guys with low midrange ratings can hit jumpers consistently if left open( tony allen), leaners with certain players = auto make regardless of defensive pressure (durant, kobe) while 3pt shot is easier than a free throw. is this what he "community" asked for? The only time ive seen people complain about difficulty scoring was on facebook with 2k11 because many refused to practice jumpshots and the game penalized you for taking bad shots.

anybody have any insight on this ?

I totally agree. People make any wide open shot in this game. Even if he can't shoot if he's open its going in.

Yeah I noticed this as well in the past two games. I loved how 2k11 actually made you practice everyone's release on the team to get a feel for everyone's shot. They've kept the timing but with a lesser window for error. Catering to the casuals= more sales/$$$.

Online yeah, but offline I think it all comes down to shot success/defensive strength/consistency sliders and ratings.

2k made iggy a jumpshot God in 2k13 clearly something is wrong
