In possible to play on ball in this game

If u play on ball the other defenders sag off and they pass it and the defender is 10 feet away from the shooter !

Two quick things:

• Set your defense to 'Pressure Shooters' - it'll close the distance a little
• If you're on ball, activate your new defender while the pass is in the air... this will allow you to switch and recover to the ball

I've been playing on-ball defense, live-streaming quick matches against doo doo players who try to cheese me, and I haven't lost yet.

I agree. On ball d is very much possible and fun this year. It took me a while to get it but now I can lock up bad player's and cause problems to good players with a good defender. The best part is that I can get better at it still. There are a lot of mechanics and things to think about like shading and using the right stick. I don't feel I'm disadvantaged playing on ball like last year.

So you always play with "pressure shooters" on? What about your coaching settings -- do you also alter on- and off-ball pressure?
