NBA Elite 11: After the Videos - Positive Thoughts

Ok so after the videos, theres been an obvious amount of negativity. Lets be positive just for a bit. I know what I saw and felt. But here are some things I saw in the videos of note. Considering that almost ZERO plays were being called, playing on pro, games with kids and non gamers:

Improved ai : some good positioning, good help defense and recognition of the ball
handlers.

With all that run and gun how about: guys filling lanes, not stopping to catch the ball,
not running to the 3 pt line only!

Defensive cut off button, worked well to cut off guys going baseline, cpu controlled guys doing it as well.

saw nick collison catch a knee during j-rich's dunk and stepped back while reacting holding his head. rtp??

saw several animations broken out of into legit moves ie: a eurostep broken out of into a step away fade shot. Nice!

Considering pro, lots and lots of missed shots by the user not knowing how to play. Hey at least it's not easy....

I know we can tear a video apart frame by frame here. So how about some positive things that were seen.

ONLY POSITIVE.

1. I got one... each possession was different and random, even with no plays called

2. Okay one more.... I embarrased that cheeser with the pick and roll LOL

Liked how many passes were getting deflected or picked off, loved that those full court passes weren't getting through.

Also like how you have to be aware of how you dribble the ball if not you will get stripped. Will probably make guys like Rondo tough to deal with because he's always reaching.

Also liked the "live" ball element lead to a lot of random things happening when you drove in traffic blindly.

This one is big to me because of the redundancy of sports games.

Re: After the Videos: Positive thoughts

Just off the top..

-Some of the shots look a lot better this year. Fade aways especially.

-Bad passes getting deflected or picked off.

-Saw an instance where Kobe played some pretty intense defense. He may have forced a turnover too, can't remember.

-In the few instances where RTP kicked in, it appeared to do it's job pretty well. (that Rose cross on Rondo and collision with J. O'Neal at the basket for example)

-Player recognition of the ball. I actually saw players looking up at the ball during shot attempts. Can't remember that being in last year.

-Game looks more free flowing like a lot of you guys have mentioned. Live has been pretty predictable over the years so this definitely a plus.
