So that said...where can I find these CAPS (not sure what that is) or player ratings? Im doing this for my madden and ncaa games on ps2, so a file to download to a ps3 or xbox won't help me.


I could make a list of the players I need, if someone was willing to jot down their attributes and send them to me.

If you have a 360 and NCAA 14 you can DL both Playmakers and Tommycoa's roster. Probably the easiest way to get to all of the players on a list.

I was kind of confused initially as to why he can't get the ratings but it makes sense now because he has a PS2

I think the PS2 NCAA game has less player ratings if I'm not mistaken....

If you get me a list of 20-30 players your looking for ratings i'll post what I have if your players match the players I've created.

I think PS2 game only has ratings like speed, strength, awareness, jumping, catching, tackling, pass blocking and run blocking right?

Since the game has less ratings to input it's not that time consuming for me to post information for you once I get the list of players you need.

I was thinking it might be easier to send me a link to a spreadsheet of the players ratings if you created one.... i have microsoft excel and opened somebody's historic madden rosters that way.

but here's a list of players in case you can't....I realize there is more than 30 guys here, but some you may not have ratings for.....plus I also ranked them with stars....3 stars being PRIORITIES. Then 2 stars and 1 star. QB, as in real life is of highest priority to me.

I ONLY POSTED THE PLAYERS I HAD ON MY ALUMNI FILE AND THEY ARE RATED BASED ON A SPECIFIC YEAR SO SOME PLAYERS ARE LISTED AS SENIOR WHILE OTHERS MIGHT BE LISTED AS JUNIOR OR SOPH.

RATINGS WILL APPEAR LOWER THAN EA BASIC RATINGS FOR NCAA FOOTBALL BECUASE IN MOST CASES I STICK WITH A PLAYERS TRUE 40 TIME BASED ON OLD ARTICLES OR NFL COMBINE #'S I WAS ABLE TO RESEARCH (DRAFT SCOUT USED FOR PLAYERS STARTING IN 1999-2010).

FOR THE MOST PART I ONLY USED THE RATINGS THAT WOULD BE IN NCAA 06 SINCE THAT GAME HAD LESS ATTRIBUTES THAN NCAA 14

I was thinking about doing some specific year teams. There's a lot of old games on youtube. If you listen to the analysis, you can get a good feel for the players after 4-5 games. A lot of the guys, you wont be able to find scouting reports on, and this is the best way. Try to rate o-lines more as a group than individuals. O-line is toughest to get a read on. Take '92 Bama's o-line for instance: I try to average a 75 ovr among the starters. Run blocking, agility, speed would be high, strength/pass blocking would be low. And all the starters would top out at 75 awareness. They didn't have any real bell cows on the oline. Rosevelt Patterson would be the highest rate guy. '92 bama had a tough time moving the ball some games, even against inferior teams like Louisiana Tech. They won one 13-0 and their only score was a David Palmer punt return. They're were other games they struggled in as well. Overall I;d give '92 Bama a C+ Offense; A+ defense; on defense all the starters would have 90 awareness at the least. I think this D could be good--not dominate-- but be a top 25-35 unit in today's game. Most of those guys played pro ball and NFL Europe.
