Shadowrun Returns

Hey remember that really awesome SNES/Genesis game named Shadowrun based off the pen and paper RPG?

Remember how MS decided to entirely **** it up with an absolutely terrible online only FPS deathmatch game?

Well let's pretend that second thing didn't happen and be glad for this:

Im proud to have backed this game on kickstarter and happy this team of devs get to work on something they absolutely love.... you can tell they have put a lot of thought and effort into this and it is starting to show.
It is probably my most anticipated title of this year.

Re: Shadowrun Returns

This is looking sweet. Didn't back it (should have) as the SNES/Sega games were dope.

You can bet I'll be grabbing this when it comes out though.

Is it gonna be on Steam or GoG ?

No steam, they said it would be DRM free, if I had to guess I would say they are just going to sell direct.

Well I'll be getting it, regardless of how.

And I'm so glad they decided to go turn based

Re: Shadowrun Returns

For some reason I was thinking there was a game on the XBox or the XBox 360 called ShadowRun as well? One of the first launch titles?

360... it wasnt a terrible game, but it just wasnt Shadowrun... it was like a FPS with special powers and abilities. Microsoft owned the rights for a while.
