Canadian Football League payscale

What is the average pay for a guy who plays in the CFL? Also, what is the leagues minimum?

A friend and I at work were talking about Jason Tucker (he played at Robinson here in Waco, which is like 7 minutes from here...my friend, cousins etc went to HS with him) and we were wondering what he made a year over there?

Best thing is to google it. But I am sure there payscale is no where near the nfl is. NFL payscale is way way more the cfl. But I think the payscale for nfl now days is so stupid. Now days paying guys millions and millions just to play backyard type game. Payscale for all major sports in america now days is getting out of hand.

Tucker probably made decent money compared to other WR's up here. I'd say around $150k, or so.

Re: Canadian Football League payscale

Yep i'd say he probably made 150K.

He was involved in a horrible collision last year that ultimately ended his career but he's sticking with the Eskimos as their receivers coach.

Wow, I didn't know that. Never saw an article here in the paper. That's sad to hear. He was one of the better receivers in the CLF, correct?

150K I would think it's towards the top of the league? Some say the top QB's could make up to 300k?

Yeah, the injury made big news up here in Canada. I believe there's an exception with QBs (or there used to be one) where QBs can make up to a million bucks a year.

Here's a story on Tucker a few months after the injury.
