What is avg. # of hits per team in a MLB game?
Anyone know? I was looking for this stat but couldn't find it.

Also, if you know, can you specify the # of hits per team in the AL vs. NL?

Also, how has that avg. # fluctuated over the years? For instance, was the average number of hits for an AL team in 2004 8 hits but then rose to 11 hits in 2007?

I feel like the number is around 18.2 or something.

18.2 hits per game for ONE team? I think it's gotta be more like 11 or 12.

9.22 in the AL, 8.91 in the NL last season.

AL: 9.22
NL: 8.91
