When is it and how will it work when charlotte gets new team? i think each team can protect 8 players(not sure) who would you protect on sacramento and who would you let go.
quick list - not looking at salaries/contract details

keep bibby, b jackson, webber,peja, turk,k clark,pollard, wallace

maybe trade christie (32?)and divac(36?) this summer for future draft picks before you would lose them to expansion draft

I hope Charlotte has something to choose from. I am a season ticket holder and want to at least be happy with a couple good players.

The commish will make he rules closer to time. Since there are so many teams, each team will probably only have to leave 1 or 2 guys unprotected.

Charlotte will not playin the coming season 03-04. They begin with the 2004 NBA Draft and play in 04-05.

I don't understand why they are adding another Eastern Conference team because the East already has 15 compared to 14 in the West. Hopefully they'll reallign one of the Eastern teams to the Western Conference.
