Re: The LeBron James Thread

I don't think attendance was ever going to be an issue with those 2 down there LOL.

Miami's fan base is atrocious. Took 2 of the best players in the world on the same team just to get them in the Top 5. That doesn't even mean that everyone shows up. Most people probably buy season tickets as a novelty just to say they can go whenever. Marlins never sell out and the Dolphins only pack the place when they are good, other wise it's a ghost town.

Did you watch the playoff series before the 3 Queens came together, against the Celtics? AAA was like half empty.

NY>>>>Miami and it's not even close.

You don't say? A team with two of the five best players in the NBA is in the top 5 in attendance? A team with two of the five best players in the NBA should be leading the league in attendance, should sell out every game and have a massive waiting list for season tickets. Miami sports fans are still horrible.

Damn dude, is it that serious?

I live in Chicago, so I hear about stuff like Wrigley Field being old, unsanitary, somewhat empty because of the losing, etc. () Also, when baseball season is here, I see the White Sox fans pack the Red Line to go to US Cellular Field all the time, and the Cubs fans for Wrigley Field on occasion.

I don't follow the Miami fan base, so why would I hear about it or pay attention to it? Only reason I know about the Marlins is because every time I saw them on SportsCenter, it would look like literally no one was there, which I thought was funny.

You gotta calm down about some of these things, I wasn't even trying to be funny.

And the food? You could've at least said customer service or something.

Looking at this year's attendance, there's no reason why Portland should have better attendance numbers than Miami. And they're basically even with the Knicks, Jazz, and Clippers.

I see what you guys are talking about .

Re: The LeBron James Thread

Why? Portland has always had a passionate fan base.

You need to brush up on your sports cities my friend.

Also, regarding your previous post, if you don't know much about the Florida/Miami fan base, then why try to interject in discussion about it, when you have no real knowledge on the subject, then try to tell me it's a matter of opinion. Smh

Re: The LeBron James Thread

Calm it down fellas. It's not so serious. Miami's fanbase for sports in general is severely lacking.

Anyone who has Lebron, Bosh, and Wade on the team, should be the #1 draw in the league, without question.

It's an absolute travesty that come tipoff for every game, at least a quarter of the lower bowl seats are empty, waiting for their owners to make a fashionably late entrance. THose who are there, are generally on their iPhone's and not paying attention to what's happening on the floor. Quite sad.
