I don't really speak out against Madden around here... for one the mods are quick to jump onto you, and for two I just think it's a waste of time. EA clearly...

Then again, EA making a patch to improve pass defense and actually making things worse is extremely possible and probable lol....

Two different types of consistency issues. Teams play up and down, sure. But for every 40+ point blowout in the actual NFL, there are a good 10 in Madden.

And teams do perform similarly week...

From as much as I can remember, yes. Madden 10 was a real long time ago for me. I sold it off pretty quickly after buying it lol.

You don't have to use the strategy pad. It is optional. There is a menu under the game's settings if you downloaded the most recent patch.

What are you guys seeing out of the patch fellas?

Hopefully whatever tweaks they made was moreso a consistency thing than making hardcore changes... that's what madden's flaw is, consistency.
