I've played some season and some GM mode with the same settings and season mode seems easier. Is this a known thing? Do I need different sliders for GM mode or am I going mad?

This is a good point. I would start mine tonight because I'd only get five or six games in before Friday maximum, so the 1500xp glitch wouldn't affect it.
