I am UTSA and did the same with a 7-5 first season. I am now 1-3, mainly due to the move to stiffer competition in C-USA and My QB injuries. Lost him for 7 weeks...but I am loving it. Crap happens...

9 games in and I can honestly laugh at the state of the top 25. I like upsets and all, but the frequency that they occur is a bit much.

I picked UTSA. Recruiting is tough, with low ratings. Pipeline of Texas is a plus though.

Yes. An FCS team beat Oklahoma among other upsets. I am 5 weeks into season one of my dynasty and the top 25 is a mess.

I like playing Conference USA. It has a wide variety of teams/playing styles. Also, I like playing in the shadow of BIG XII country, so once my team is improved, I set up a few early season games...

That is an interesting strategy to use. I have thought about drafting using a reverse pecking order strategy...giving teams that are traditionally underdogs a higher pick.
