Re: Drafting for your scheme

I practice every week for XP. Yeah, it's super tedious, and it gives you a pretty unfair advantage against the AI teams, but the guys buried on your depth chart are unlikely to get much XP otherwise....

Re: Drafting for your scheme

For the most part, a player's type and scheme aren't particularly important in my experience. With the way the XP system works, unless you're drafting a player to start immediately, OVR and position...

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)

In that same draft, there's also Allen Rotheram slated to go a number of picks after Frazer. Can't remember what his ACC and AGI are, but he's got 93 speed and superstar dev as well. And I believe...

Re: Some rating questions

I don't think there's any link at all between Personality and the development trait. Sam Delagarza, a mobile QB who is in the Eli Watson/Nick Obregon draft class I believe, starts with Slow...

Re: Some rating questions

Personality is basically a measurement of how much fans in general like a player. Players with high personality will sell more jerseys, so it's really not that important unless you're playing Owner...

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)

Obregon is definite franchise LT material. He's like 6'7", maybe a little underweight at 298 lbs, but starts with 90 STR and something like 75 ACC. Perfect fit in just about any blocking scheme. Oh,...

Re: What features to you miss having.

This bugs the hell out of me as well. I spend all my XP at the end of the season, and man is that a great way to get a repetitive stress injury...

Re: What features to you miss having.

Totally agree. If you've got a stone-handed rookie receiver with great wheels and a stud QB, what do you think that receiver is gonna be working on every single day? Catching the football.

Re: What features to you miss having.

It's not the RPG element that really bothers me. I love RPGs so at face value it's kind of familiar in a way. What bothers me is that it's totally bass-ackwards. Players don't improve because they...

Re: Attribute Question

From what I've read, Awareness doesn't really do anything for defensive players. PRC is what you want, along with ZCV. Block Shedding will help when blitzing, and Tackle will help make sure your LBs...

Re: What features to you miss having.

I miss having the ability to hire scouting agencies, offensive/defensive/special teams coordinators, The Combine, Pro Days...

Quite frankly, I hate the XP system, and much preferred the Potential...

Re: what are the major issues with importing draft classes

The repeating draft class issue is really easy to avoid if you're playing offline CFM. Just save in week one, and if you get a repeat draft class when you advance to week two, just reload and try...

Re: draft guide for madden 25?

While I'd definitely like a draft guide as it would save me some time and I loved last year's draft guide, if you're playing offline CFM, all you really need to do is save your scouting points until...

Re: Rebuilding

I also undertook a rebuilding effort with the Raiders, even though I'm a Browns fan, and relocated them to L.A., turning them into the Aftershocks. Moving the Browns just didn't seem right.

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)

For me, a guy like Shady Munroe isn't worth a first round pick, even if you get the storyline where he runs an impressive 40 time and comes out of the draft with a 97 SPD. Yeah, 6'8", 97 SPD and 74...

Re: Pryor looks like Russell?

They definitely put the bare minimum of effort into his face and model, but it's not so bad, since he can pretty easily be developed into a beast.

His main weaknesses are that atrocious AWR of 50...

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)

Yeah, in my experience there seems to be a lack of elite athletes at both RB and WR. It's basically pick 2 out for 3 for 90+ SPD, AGI, ACC. And in most cases it's just pick 1 (I'm looking at YOU...

Re: Player Progression Tips

How you develop your players is heavily dependent on your schemes and the kind of players you develop. Personally, I prefer to draft physical beasts with poor football skills, as things like AWR,...
