It's much more fun to play than NCAA 2k3, which was a broken mess in terms of gameplay. I'll break it out again this winter for sure to play on the DC emulator.

Count me among those burned by Maximum Football previously. A lot of animations, graphics, et cetera look very similar to Max Football, which was not a gorgeous game even upon its release 10 years...

Deep ball was easy in 06 and 07, but could be mitigated with sliders. Outside running was a breeze in 08, not to mention running kickoffs back for touchdowns. Sliders would not fix the issue...
