I managed to find a workaroumd. Im on steam, not sure how youd do this on non steam version. Right click on NBA 2K16>properties>local game content (i think its called, local something.)>verify file...

Generated rookies are a cancer to your league. I've been using user created draft classes for years, so the shot base glitch is no biggie for me.

I had minimal problems pre patch. Just got it downloaded, I boot up my game and now it freezes on this screen.....
