Indeed. Powering up a shot with a defender by your side seems to result in a penalty most of the time. They should trust their GK pulling off a world class save a bit more! Same with just dribbling...

Had this happen once. It was really cool. But is it a weather option in game settings? Because every time I see "Snow" I change it. Just can't play well in a white pitch. My eyes can't handle it!

This happened with set C as posted in OP (only with GKs set a bit higher). Throughout this game I was thinking that maybe the pass speed was making it really hard for the cpu to deal with pressing....

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about crosses + pass error if it improves the rest of the game. Played a fair number of games with default sliders and the terrible crosses was one of the first things...
