Semin had 4 points in 14 playoff games. What a waste.
I know this is anathema to 21st century hockey thinking, but not everyone can (or should) be a two-way player. Semin is a superb talent; my problem with isn't that he doesn't play D or is a headcase; my problem with him is that
he doesn't score enough. If I was Babcock, I'd tell Semin, "Your job is to be a sniper, period. Score 40-50 goals per season, and I won't care if you play D or not; Dats can handle that for you. But if you don't score at least 40, I'm going to make your life a living hell."
