MLB 11 The Show Intro Stutter and Game Stutter? ... Rebuild the Database

Do I have to back-up my franchise before rebuilding my HDD??

I did this last night...just to see if there is a difference. I have a fatty system with a 500gb 5400rpm hitachi in it. It took less time than it took me to go into my closest and change from my work clothes to some shorts (140gb filled up)...and now my MLB.tv doesn't get ugly and stutter randomly. Nice.

No, your game saves will not be deleted.

Just rebuilt my database and the studdering at the start of the game is now gone. Thanks for the tip!

what is considered stutter for this game? I just bought by PS3 last month when THE SHOW came out. The only thing I notice that comes close to what you might consider "STUTTER", is at the beginning of the game loading, the first time anything appears on the screen for the game (baseball rolls towards home plate), the sound of the game sounds like someone turns the volume up, then down, then up, then down, really fast. Is this stutter? I have no other issues with gameplay or sound otherwise.

i get stutter sometimes during a pitch..almost like a lag online but not as bad...does this fix it??

Fixed the intro stutter and haven't seen any in game stutter since, well done gentleman, and thank you.
