Referees making better decisions? I hope that means MORE foul calls.

Seriously? Who would use Fifa on Kinect? How would they even implement that?

Are you kidding me? One of the biggest issues with the game right now is that players turn far too easily.

Giving people more control with the ball at their feet is the last thing this series needed.

A positive is the little quick finesse pass that was mentioned to quickly lob the ball to a player when pressured.

At this point, if they could have 6-7 fouls called on the AI in FIFA 12, I'd play that for quite awhile.

Krebstar - I felt the same way when combining the dribbling/turning with the ability for offensive players to think two plays ahead, "inspired by Messi." That's what makes Messi great - hoping this won't apply to every damn player like usual.

FIFA 13 Fundamentals — Essential elements have been refined to make the experience more authentic. Referees will now make better decisions awarding fouls and cards

This made me happy.

FIFA 13 Tactical Free Kicks — Create dangerous and unpredictable free kicks. Position up to three attacking players over the ball and confuse opponents with dummy runs, more passing options, and more elaborate free kicks. Opponents can counter by adding or subtracting players to the wall, creeping the wall forward, or sending a bullet man to intercept the pass or block the shot.

Improving the officiating makes free kicks more relevant. It was rare that I got a free kick in FIFA 12. I'm encouraged by these improvements.

Looking forward to this one. Cool list of improvements though I would've liked to see something on attacking styles & more on defending.

Couldn't agree more. Players turn and change direction far too quickly; but I feel like it's a matter of tweaking the sliders and attributes. I don't have my Xbox in front of me, but I know that I play on slow with edited sliders. I have found that under these settings, players with acceleration, agility, and sprint speed ratings in the 30s-40s play more realistically than anyone else.

Cautiously optimistic although hearing things like "players will turn quicker" and the AI will think two plays ahead scares the hell out of me.

The Attacking AI needs to be addressed in terms of attack variance (possession vs long ball/direct play).

A Foul Slider is a MUST if they don't address the refs.
