Wow a great innovation, we won't know a priori where the ball will land, even for home runs!! But this last obeservation raises a question for Ramone: does this mean that the home run indicator is gone once and for all?

No, I've noticed that the fielding indicator if it gets to the wall where the ball could be robbed, TURNS INTO the red and yellow circle.

Oh well, i don't have the ps3 version, have you seen an option to turn it off in the menus?

I dont have the PS3 version either. ONLY PS4 for me. But I did also notice that balls that CAN'T be robbed it doesn't change to the red and yellow circle, it just continues over the wall and goes away.
