Actually after some more research. I found out that 2k Sports still owns the NHL stadium licenses for a couple teams. I also found out that Rammer from the EA NHL team is quoted from E3 as saying "we have 25 of the 30 arenas". Im not very happy about this. Its now obvious to me why they havent shown arena screens of Chicago, Arizona, Buffalo, NY Islanders and Carolina. Can someone tell me why they are bragging about authentic arenas if they couldn't even land the rights to one of the most popular one's (UC)? Im seriously considering canceling my pre-order now, Im from Chicago and I want to start a gm mode with the hawks but not if they arena isn't in. I lived with it in NHL 13, but this is a steaming load of BS right here.

I think he is attempting to say those modes sold him on past versions of this game and their exclusion is what made him cancel his pre order.

I haven't seen the SAP Center in San Jose released yet, and it isn't listed at the EA page either.

A thread about Arena screenshots and the first 2 posts are about EASHL. This is going to be an annoying year on the OS forum.

Back on topic, I wish I has a better understanding of why a company like United AIrlines drops all that money on gaining naming rights for an Arena then doesn't go so far as to make sure it appears in the video game representation.
It's baffling that NBA Live 14 and NBA 2k14 had united center but NHL didn't.

In NBA Live they have the United Center so maybe they are saving it for last? If not I could see EA buying the rights to the remaining arenas and putting them in via patch.

SAP center is in the game, it was shown in a leaked photo of Brent Burns playing the game
