Re: Top 20 Goalkeepers in FIFA 15

This is just another dumb list by EA. Who rates these guys, Donny Moore's Irish cousin?

This isn't 2010 anymore, Iker is not top 20 anymore, moreless top 5.
Akinfeev is rubbish.
Did Donny McMoore watch the World Cup? Where is Keylor Navas?
What about Muslera, he's better than at least 10 of their top 20.
No Ochoa? Again, anyone watching what he did in Brazil, not to mention being a very good club keeper?
Sirigu is about 10 spots too high.
Tim Krul is twice the keeper than Mignolet is.

Re: Top 20 Goalkeepers in FIFA 15

Navas was Goal's la liga keeper of the year while at Levante.

Looks like EA has handcuffed themselves, with Navas at Madrid now and behind Casillas for the time being they rated him too low. Close to equal to Casillas would be more appropriate. I say 83 would be right just off the WC and his athleticism and verve.

My guess? He will be a 77 or 78.

Muslera's absence is just flat out puzzling. Also you could buy him in CM last year under 5, get him to an 86 or 87 and sell him off for 30 mil.

Navas getting after it

Not that I agree with this list, but you know a team has an embarrassment of riches when it's starting AND backup goalkeepers come in at #2 and #3 respectively (Chelsea).

I honestly feel Tim Howard got shafted on this one. He should be top 10 off of his ability. I know he's getting older, but wow.

I mostly agree with everyone's criticisms, but sometimes WC goalkeeper performances are overrated. Remember Toni Meola? Algeria's keeper had a great 14 WC and he was second choice at his Bulgarian club. Ochoa hasn't won the the Malaga job either yet.
