Very impressive, but how does the assigning of shoes work in Live with no editing feature? Or do you just have to play the game with whatever shoe is assigned to the player in the roster updates?

I always just bought whatever the cheapest clearance pair was from the Eastbay mail-order catalog. The tread on the bottom of every basketball shoe is destined to wear out eventually, so I never saw much point to spending a ton on expensive brand names or fancy exteriors.
