I just played a full game of Cavs vs. Thunder and here are a few takeaways

Pros: atmosphere was cool, close up graphics are vastly improved over 14, gameplay is better than 14, fast breaks actually work, everything appears more polished than 14, KD looks better in this game when they zoom in

Cons: gameplay is severely behind where we are in 2014, game is not smooth at all, KD's drives seemed to go in some weird canned animation that took him right to the hoop and when it didn't go to a canned animation it was very slow and robotic, back of jerseys look way off around the neckline, commentary seemed off and broken, graphics during gameplay only look slightly better than 14

I will give it a little more time, but this game seems like it should've been NBA Live 11 on 360/PS3, not NBA Live 15 on Xbox One/PS4. I can see Live fans who want to experience something other than 2K gravitating towards this game and finding things to be happy about, but if you've grown use to the other game and the way it is presented, this one may not be your cup of tea.

The atmosphere and the sound make you feel like your really at a nba game.

Spacing is top notch.

Physics is beautiful.

Animations is way better but it needs a lot more.

Scoring is to easy at this point.

Player models and gear is on point.

Omg the espn camera is the best in a b-ball game period.

Player movement still look kinda weird.

Overall this is a good game that still need work in some areas. Im highly impressed at what live has become and 16 and 17 should be great for the series. Good job EA! #LIVEISBACK

I downloaded and played the initial game Cavs. vs. OKC, definite step up from last yr, but still seeing some very Live-ish wonky animations, good crowd atmosphere, Kevin Love looks like a 70s Porn Star...lol. I like the simplicity of the controls. Live fans should be pleased the game is moving in a better direction than Live 14.

Have you played it? This is an impressions thread. It's simply not good. To me, it's a more polished Live 14 which I feel was simply horrible. I wanted this to be good. I grew up with Live and would love to go back to some of my Live loving years.
The players are sluggish. The CPU in the 12 minute per quarter game I played RARELY ran any plays. Simply would have 3 out, 2 in, or 4 out and 1 in and would literally stand there like morons. This was on all star difficulty as well. Shot tendencies are waaaay off as in my game vs the Raptors they pounced it inside all game and Derozan finished 3-5 from the field playing 42 minutes. Speaking of which, I had my subs to auto and all my starters played 42 plus minutes including all 24 in the second half.... Finally, the Raptors finished with 78 of their 96 points in the paint and had 26 offensive rebounds (keep in mind, no sliders to help these areas)
I am so disappointed and am just glad I played this through Access and didn't give $60 for it.

Spot on. It's like a game that should have come out in 2011 on current gen and built its way up from there.

Some tidbits from my experience playing 2 games so far

- Overall good experience. Beat the Bulls in my first game with the Pacers, with YG Trece in the line up lol. Overall flow of the game is good, game needs some fine tuning still though, especially with the passing, and contact animations. You don't get a sense of weight on the players.

- I had two suspect foul calls on me, 2 offensive fouls that really weren't. CPU intentionally fouled me, and there was no call, ball went out of bounds, and they got the ball.

- Off ball movement is way better than last year, with auto motion turned on

- Dunked on somebody with Paul George and that ish looked crazy in real time

- Calling plays is the same, but to call the sets, you just hold the D-pad and it brings up the plays, tap for quick plays

- Graphics are amazing

- Menus aren't slow, nice and fluid

- Timing is a lot differen't from Live 14 in every aspect of the game, from shooting, driving,

- Players switching speeds needs to be a bit better, when players get a breakaway in real life, they jet down the court, right now, you don't feel that sense of speed differential

- Under the basket moves, there's one where a player under the basket can extend his arm and some how score from behind the basket, it's kind of annoying.

It's screams Arcade. I had 5 blocks in my first all-star level game with my point guard, Goran Dragic. It is VERY easy to score and block any shot. It's way smoother than 2k but that is all I have from my 1 game.
