WWE 2K16 Scheduled to Arrive on October 27th For Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3

Is really anybody still buying new games like that one for PS 3 and Xbox 360? I mean I understand ppl are still playing on last gen and getting old games on discount. But who but who will purchase a new game, yearly release, for expensive 50 bucks on an old system when you can buy a xbox one for less than 300$. Baffles me.

Because 50 dollars is easier to swallow than 299.99 any day of the week.

Jerry Lawler has hinted at a potential Stone Cold Showcase in this year's game. Says him and JR have been doing voice over work for 2K16.

“We’re already working on that. A lot of people ask about my old broadcast partner. They’re having in this year’s game, a big Stone Cold Steve Austin Attitude Era section and they have me and J.R. back together again in the studio doing voice-overs for that.” Lawler told the Radio show.

So last year they gave us Triple H vs HBK as an old school rivalry Showcase, along with a modern one, Cena vs Punk. Seems this might be similar to the Warrior Showcase and center around Austin(hopefully this covers his time in WCW and ECW).

Also another interesting thing is I read 2K Sports removed around 30 superstars from the game(maybe some of the legends in order to add more current superstars?), and are bringing back some fan favorite modes including Create An Arena with "Arena Editor"(assuming this is taking current Raw/SD/PPV/NXT arenas and being able to edit them anyway you like).

Same. Modding takes games to a whole different level. I just hope 2K sports doesn't hire all the great modders for WWE 2K like they did NBA 2K. I'm afraid we won't ever get a UBR type mod for NBA 2K ever again.

This is year 2 of "Prove it" for 2K as far as I'm concerned. If this game is garbage, I'm done with the series. I saw the potential, but it didn't have a ton of replay value for me since a ton of creative features were missing. Hopefully they add some back in '16 and the game is better overall. Just can't get quality games these days. It's really disheartening and pathetic. Smh
