I tried to find the original thread, but couldn't
But since using the "high" camera, I have found my mojo.
The high camera makes seeing the ball so much easier and really isn't that high.
I still suck at timing on the off-speed pitches, especially the 12-6 curve, but I am now hitting much better overall.

Do you have any suggestions to help my pitchers?

Don't repeat pitch sequences, always pay attention to the pitcher/batter analysis because they AI will adapt, so mix everything up. It'll pay dividends in the long run.

Well said...what I had in mind.....I will reiterate, don't repeat pitch sequences.... mix up your pitches and if you are using a pitcher that throws hard, use your offspeed stuff when ahead in the count...IF you do decide to throw the same or similar pitches in the same or close to the same part of the strike zone....think about low and away hard to both left and right handed hitters, it will take away from their power and if they try and pull it they will end up hitting weak ground balls....

I can give you a suggestion. Listen to the catcher for the most part. Also mix up the speed of your fastball. Don't always throw it in the red or always in between red and yellow. Just mix it up. Outside pitches hitters have to wait longer to make solid contact so if you slow it down on outside pitches it almost acts like a changeup because the CPU reads fastball but swings too early. Same for inside fastballs throw them harder.

I really rack up the K's now when I mix up the speed of my pitches at the right time. Just don't ever throw fastballs inside slow. It's all about mixing up speeds. I used to think that I had to blow the fastball by guys to get them out but a slower fastball at the right time can be just as affective. Give it a shot!
