editing coachs in finn's editor

can anyone explain to me how to do it/what it does? does it mean i can put hats on them, change hair colors, etc...? seems like a cool concept. thanks!

You can edit the name, photo and player model as well as the coach's attributes and records. Take the Seahawks for example, you could change HC Mike Holmgren to Jim Mora and have his photo and player model but the only negative is that whoever the original HC was, his name is still said by the commentators and announcers because its programmed into the disc itself. So, while Mora's coach model would be on the sideline, if you say, challenge a play, it will say, coach Holmgren is challenging the play.

Annoying and not perfect but all things considered, FINN did a great job cracking it and giving us the ability to edit as much as he has.

thanks for the info dan, do u know exactly where u find the coaches in the editor? after i load my roster, i only see players. *granted i am new to the editor.

do u know how 2 edit the coaches?

Click on the Head Set icon located on the top menu of the editor. Its two icons over to the right from the "$" icon.

i dont see that icon. i see the money icon, but the only thing to the right of it is the "export current teams players attributes as..." with a drop down box and the "help contents" button. i have funnguns new 2010 roster open. do i have to have a franchise save to do it? or can i just do it with the roster?

To the right of the $ icon is the depth chart which looks like a flip page notebook and to the right of that is the headset icon for editing the Head Coach. It can be done in roster and franchise files.

What version of the editor do you have?

i just realized i had the 2.1 editor and not the 4.0. i see the headset now. thanks for all of your help dan!!
