Are you giving Penn State the "death penalty"?

I've seen a few posters and few os'ers on twitter say there going to replace PSU with a teambuilder team in there dynasty. Personally I'll keep them in but I just want to see what everybody else is doing.

Keep this on topic and it can stay open. No shots at Paterno or Penn State. If you want to talk about what happened there use the College Football thread.

hadn't really thought about it. but I guess if that is the final decision that comes down then I would consider doing something like that

I'm going to wait to see what, if anything, the NCAA does.

I plan to kick Penn State out of the Big Ten and replace them with this teambuildered team to simulate harsh death-penaltylike NCAA sanctions. I gave them Akron's roster and adjusted most of their pitches to simulate a program that would need to be rebuilt.
From another thread. I figure down the road, I can always take rebuilding them on as a challenge.

I thought about putting them in a weak conference to take away their conference rating during recruiting but they will just win their conference every year and play in bowl games anyway.

Re: Are you giving Penn State the "death penalty"?

Well I thought long about what I thought the NCAA might do about it and base my decision on that because I try to have as authentic a simulation to the real thing as possible. Penn St. most likely won't have anything done to them by the NCAA because this isn't part if their legislation let alone 'repeat offender' rule applicable, Penn St. has legality issues and certain individuals will be going to prison, so to answer your question, no, I'm not going to give Penn St. the death penalty. I'm leaving them be.

I'll keep them in there just for realism sake.
