Two things I would really like to see this year:

1. Gameplay- Ball handler vs on-ball defender overhaul. The 2k devs should add a ton of two player animations between the ball handler and defensive player. Also, they need to make the dribbling more intuitive and organic. It felt stiff and unresponsive last year. (Significantly improved AI defensive rotations would be nice as well)

2. Presentation- I’d love to see the 2k developers overhaul the crowd and crowd reactions this year. It surprised me they have left this area of the game untouched for so long. MLB the show improved their crowd and crowd reactions this year and it is a gamechanger for overall realism.

That's what 2K used to be, and then they removed a lot of it for 2K18. "I want total control, I'm tired of being sucked into animations" was a pretty common comment around here. 2K did what people asked for and now people are surprised when there's tons of clipping. Can't win either way.
