MLB 20: 2008 (AL)pha Roster v1 Now Available!

*DISCLAIMER*
This set is for MLB 20. As of right now, I don't have plans on porting this to MLB 21.

Hey everyone, first I want to give a huge shout-out to JTommy67 and MBMavs20 for their incredible RBU ratings and historic pitch ratings tools. Without their great work, none of this would be possible.

If you recall, I posted quite awhile back about the 2008 roster set that I was working on. Unfortunately, the work has taken longer than I would have liked and it's still a work in progress. The good news, however, is that I have a demo/alpha set ready for AL teams. The set includes the Opening Day 25 man roster for all AL teams, with 40 man rosters for some teams I already finished. As a bonus for Brewers fans, they are included in this set as well. This is not meant to represent the final product, just a chance for everyone to test out what I have completed so far. I have a link to a spreadsheet that will outline my progress and eventually I plan to update it with all the roster ratings/info. I look forward to any feedback/questions you guys have and hope you're able to enjoy these while I work on the finished product! Expect a few more releases in the near future as I make some adjustments.

What's Included
-25 Man Opening Day Rosters
-40 Man Rosters/Minors for select teams
-Players ages are as of July 1, 2008
-Accurate Contracts, Service Time, Height/Weight, etc.
-Accurate Stances/Motions, Ratings, Pitch Repertoires
-Player options are accurate to the best of my ability. Same with stats.

This is awesome! Can’t wait for the finished product. Would love to replay the 2008 season on the 2020 game.

I am still chugging along on MLB 09, replaying the 2008 season but the out of the box ratings are too high and makes for unrealistic season stats. And the CPU doesn’t throw enough balls or give up enough walks. Sometimes when I pitch it seems no matter what I throw it’s going to get hit.

Good luck and I am happy to see you used my pitch edits. 👍🏻

Thank you sir! That's awesome to hear you're doing an 08 replay on MLB 09. Without a doubt, my favorite version of MLB The Show. It definitely has its flaws, but I put so much time into that game and always had a blast with it.

Anymore progress on this? Does the RBU tool work for defense as well? What makes it so good? and did you use it for the non 40 man minor league guys as well? Sorry for the many questions lol
