Seems like the AI doesn't pull pitchers when they are getting shelled. I rang up 12 runs in the 2nd inning of a game, and they continued to leave the pitcher in.

This game is maturing nicely, gameplay wise and visually. I can see myself dumping a ton of time into this version, maybe even more than the first two which I played a ton.

I have not played a lot of games but there is some AI tweaking they need to look at:

-Infielders travel too far into the outfield to catch flyballs and the outfielders are giving way to them.

-I think preloads need to unfold a little faster. Not seeing the reward of doing it.

-There needs to be a quicker pull for cpu pitchers. They hang them out to dry too often when getting shelled.

-I don’t like that runners automatically take off on fly balls, I wish they would hold up or give us a freeze on the base path button. Currently you have to immediately retreat to see if the ball falls in.

Overall great game and nice upgrade.

Baserunning does have it's issues. Maybe it's a factor of balls being hit too hard to the outfield but I've noticed it can be really 50/50 on scoring from 2nd base on a single. I'm sure that will improve for me as I get more time in playing the game, but it still seems to me there needs to be a little tweaking done there, if they can.

Ai batters don't swing outside the zone unless two strikes on them, wasn't like this last yr. I'm on 50 ego.

They will however really fish with two strikes which is nice.

I'm freaking loving it so far. I played the first in the series and got bored due to no real depth. With the franchise and the pennent stuff there's epic amounts of replayability. It runs great on the switch for me and is great handheld. Well worth 45 bucks IMHO.

I've barely had any time to play and when I have, I'm having some bad framerate issues (PC). I had no issues on SMB2, but something about this game and my computer don't agree. I'm hoping there are more hotfixes coming that resolve it.

What’s your setup and what settings are you at? This game is graphically heavier than SMB2.
