Would a casual fan like WWE 2K14?

I'm a sports gamer, occasional fighting gamer. I used to watch wrestling all the time. I kinda stopped after Stone Cold/The Rock had their popularity in the 2000s. I haven't even played a wrestling game since PS1. I like the fact that this game has some old guys (since I only know stars of today just to hear their names/see faces like Cena, Punk, etc).

I was wondering if I should purchase this game? Could someone tell me if the roster has only one costume or are there multiple? Is there usually DLC? How much$? Is it more costumes or is it more people on the roster? If you create a guy, can you customize the outfit/music/entrance, etc?

I just get timid if the game could go along the lines of that WrestleMania game a few years ago. That game went from $60 to $10 in what seemed like a month.

If you're just a casual fan, I'd recommend WWE '13. Half of the roster is from the Attitude Era, the main story mode is Attitude Era mode, I'm sure you'd love it. Plus, it'll be cheaper.

Casual fan yes but if your hardcore then no. These games are very easy to play and have no challenge at all

Unknown at this point. However this series is absoutely made for casuals and this is hopefully the last one that will be. Yuke's is still making it,2K takes over next year and I would think they'd aim towards sim.

Apparently with the sloppy *** way Yuke's does it they'd have make an entirely new model to make a new costume so the extra costumes are rare. About 5-10 wrestlers get them.

Yes.
Too much for something that should've been there to begin with.
People on the roster because it's anywhere from 3 to 14 months out of date every year. Even though they have a weekly show with the "rookies" on it.

I have it preordered. I'm looking forward to the full roster reveal Sunday. I'm still on the fence, though because I only played 13 for maybe two weeks.

I rarely play 13 now a days but the thing is if it had 2-counts and the AI was a little harder to beat I would play it non stop. Hopefully 2k14 fixes those things.

I'm really hoping they either overhaul cas or actually add stuff to it. I'm tired of having the same exact stuff with the same glitches from four years ago.
