Great Idea to fix commentary & promos in WWE 2K18

Instead of exclusively recording new audio for the upcoming game, how about using real commentary audio from WWE shows including multiple scenarios between superstars and matches directly from programming and promos. This will make the in game commentary 100% authentic and allow for voice overs for promos. This will also allow for authentic play by play commentary when the specific audio is used for strikes, combos, action, etc. WWE has 1000+ episodes so this would be a sweet idea to consider.

My only issue is that in the video you used there is too much dead air. On the other hand, the more commentary you try to populate a match with, the more instances of mismatched tones you're going to get. They need to start from scratch with the new announce teams.

I'd be a fan of the Madden approach, and having lesser-known commentators record new lines to be updated in exhibition and career modes on a regular basis.
