I hope that spacing really is fixed. The example you showed from 2K9 was from when they're stuck in the double team animation. Even in 2K8 you could pass out of that and get an open J against the cpu.

Just absolutely on point again and again man... Love the way you illustrate how fixing the court spacing ties in with being able to have good, solid positional defense in the game. You certainly know your stuff and its great to see someone bringing the knowledge to the masses.

I'm happy that they improved the court spacing because 2k8 seriously lacked a midrange game. I'm hoping with the increased spacing that those who love to offball reach will get burned.

Czar is the Ron Jaworski (sp?) of video game basketball. The way he can break down the film is uncanny.

Again I say, he and TJ need to be doing 2K10. Czar I appreciate your work man. You break the game down so well that non basketball liking females can understand what is going on. I just had a friend watch it and she got it. LOL

Spot on! I hope that you can drive - kick it out - and get and open look too. Couldnt do it so far in the demo but maybe it is possible with Isolation.

Great job as always Czar. I always looking forward to hearing the "Czarisms". Great illustration of the improved spacing in 2k9. Especially when passing out of double teams and passing off the dribble.

That was simply amazing... The fact that it was CPU vs CPU just made it so much better. Really tested what the AI's all about.

The comparisons to 2K8 in the vid were great, esp the Bibby one where he closed out to a shooter in the corner when he had both feet in the paint. That drove me up the wall in 2K8 but I'm one happy man now that it's gone in 2K9.

The graphical difference seeing 2K8 right next to 2K9 in motion is

ehh, that's exactly what drove me crazy last year. No open shots because of the recovery defense. I'm ecstatic that it seems to be somewhat fixed.

Hey zar, ive watched your interveiws since i was a lad on the old IGN boards and wow, you still get people to understand the the things that really MATTER in 2k ball. Your break downs are clear & well organzined each and every time. Man it aint a 2k holliday without the great zar...........You also shut alot of mouths up of people who felt 2k8 was the same as 2k9.
