I did, but I got it for HC so it was worth it for me.

This I don't know and I'm always over collector's and limited editions. First it's Kobe Bryant and second the extras aren't worth the extra $40 for me.

I would pay $100 if they gave NBA 2K through 2K4 coded in Hi-Def with roster updates. Now that with all the kobe junk is worth $100.

Surprised nobody has called anyone broke for not wanting to buy the LImited Edition LOL

I'm not a big Kobe fan (not a big ***** either though), but the Limited Edition seems pretty cool. In the end it comes down to what the individual values. I paid Sports Illustrated $90 (twice) just to get the Steeler Super Bowl packages; the items are cheap and the magazines are nothing but clutter but the Steeler items have value to me. I'm sure there were a lot of people that saw value in the GTA IV LE, or liked hanging a replica of one of the guns from Gears of War up in their room/office. So not sure why this one is getting clowned by some. Also it doesn't seem to be outrageously priced, as some limited editions are.

i dont know paying 100$ for 1 video game is a little excsessive man...

even with the "extras" youll prolly watch them like once... so you basically played yourself out of $40

$65 is already too much.

It's all relative - I never get tired of watching my Steeler dvds, or looking at the cheap azz footballs SI gives as part of their packages. As far as videogame limited editions go, this seems to be on the less pricey end, and has some cool items

Now THAT is dope!

For $100, I better be able to play Kobe, Shaq, Magic, Kareem, Elgin, and Jerry West in the online lobby.

I am pretty sure you force yourself to watch that DVD knowing how much you spent on it. If it was GIVEN to you, I am sure you wouldn't watch it as much.

Millionaire or not, I think it is crazy to spend $100 on 1 game

Ill be trading in games to lower the price on this.

I work @ blockbuster part time for some extra cash to help with my gaming spending.

Get 30% off games and I'll trade in something I don't play or watch anymore
to lower the price.

I'm a sucker for Collector's Editions, that's just me.

so youre jacking yourself even more to justify breaking bread on a 100$ game?

i mean if thats what you feel you need to do... go for it.

$100 is steep, again just my opinion tho

# 40 Stumbleweed @ 06/30/09 04:31 PM
Heh, no way I buy that, despite bieng a huge 2K fan for the past few years. I still feel burned on 2K9, so I'm not about to toss them an extra $40 for some Kobe stuff and a place to store games. That poster is cool though, if I were a Kobe fan.
