This is amazing news. Sure, we don't know the details, but it's good that Franchise and Superstar are slated to be talked about before the more "casual" stuff (I say that loosely not to offend any online players). We franchise people have more than waited our turn.

Probably the jist of it......
You have half of 10 and half of 11 correct.

Must be still playing 10, huh?

I think the major news is, the fact that each blog will be SOLELY on that specific topic, so that means us franchise fans will get a day of just franchise news. And of course same for presentation. Instead of getting a blog that says "suprise onside kicks, 3d grass, new draft logic, better gang tackling, pink jockstraps in the breast cancer awareness month presentation mode, and a bonus addition of Jeff Pash." I much prefer having a blog focused on one topic so it focuses on the importance of each one. Bravo EA, bravo.

I am jacked up for the presentation blog. I am all about making me feel immersed in the game. Good job EA.

BTW, Adembroski, is this what you guys meant by "reassurance?"

Good! Its a long wait but at least the two I'm most concerned about are the first two out the box........

Gameplay and presentation.

Wondering to self it it's anything to do with tiered play calling or just wishful thinking.

# 31 kackle85 @ 03/21/11 05:16 PM

Agreed. When the snow melts, I know Madden info is soon to come.

I figured they would lead with Presentation, I'll have my "Eye" on that one.

i think X-Books is like "Cross"-Books which I imagine to be, selecting your favorite elements of different playbooks.

I'm going to assume "Dynamic Player Performance" is going to be like NBA Live's (RIP) Dynamic DNA.

X-Books on the other hand, I don't know what the hell they are but I want to know. First guess is obviously custom playbooks, but I'm unsure.

Tell you what, if they give us create a playbook, CPU defense better be extremely tough. 'Cause at this point I rely on poor playcalling from my OC(gameplanning) to atleast make it a good game 'til the 4th. But overall, I like the direction EA is taking with this. They seem more confident than they have been over the past few years and I think they have solid direction.

This.

Whether it leads to a better game will be interesting.
