The 2012 NBA Draft is in the books and there were several surprises and a lot of 'oh that was supposed to happen anyways' moments to be had. National Media are sounding off on who won or lost the draft and we'd be remiss if we didn't open up a conversation here as well.

So let's have at it: which franchises 'won' last night in the draft, which ones lost, and which ones will see the most immediate impacts of 2012's rookie class?

Sound off!

Pistons drafting Darko was considered the winner of the draft(more than Cavs with Lebron)

Hornets drafting David West was considered one of the losers of the draft.

Pretty surprised that nobody choose the Sixers as a winner in the draft which they were in many ways. A very young scorer in Moe Harkless and and very talented big man In Moultrie that is a threat in different ways. Another winner is the Boston Celetics because of two big men they got in Sullinger and Fab Melo who will be taught well and possibly make them a threat in the future. In my opinion the loser in the draft was the pacers Plumlee was a so/so rebounder and not a great motor or scorer hopefully he can run with the pacers five this year.

Winners: Celtics- Melo and Sullinger are future starters.
Hornets- Davis and Rivers are great.
Rockets- 3 mid-round picks, good trade bait.

Losers: Bobcats- Couldn't trade out of 2nd pick.
Utah- Didn't get Warriors pick from the New Jersey trade.
Indiana- Messed up big time by choosing Plumlee.Could have and should have chosen Perry Jones.

How does not being able to trade out of the 2nd pick make us a loser?

I just wish the Sixers would've taken Sullinger...

Yeah anytime you get a guy like Kidd-Gilchrist on your team, you're not a loser. Obviously.
