Worst Album Covers Ever?

These are in the running...

What's the over/under on the number of posts before someone posts a Ben E Lou cover with SD's naked grandma's house pose spliced in?

I'm only doing this because of you. I feel so cheap using the same joke twice in one day.

This is a sentence I never thought I would have to read:

"This CD is Ruben Sierra's best."

Those album covers were wretchedly hilarious. Too many people not having a clue. But you do have to put yourself into the time and place instead of using current standards. Thanks for posting that.

I don't know Buc, I'd rather make fun of them from afar rather than go to some of those places! They look like nightmare scenes from when I was 7 in over half of them.

Thanks. It wasn't bad, but what can I say, I had great material to work with. I am partial to this one though.

I'm digging this one up to post one I missed. That IS Peter Cetera in the back with his...uh...hands full.

I think I'm safe from scrutiny because this picture was taken moments before Cetera and his buddy got naked.

I can't believe it. When I saw this thread, I totally thought "Hot Streets!" When I didn't see it in the link, I got ready to go find the pic, but someone else posted it! Nice. At one point during college, my roommates and I had a record player, and we borrowed my parents' old albums (this was late 90s), and we made fun of that album cover SO MUCH!

This one isn't all that funny unless you know who Pantera was and how badly they railed against "poseur metal" in the 90's. This one came out in 1988. And yes, that's Phil Anselmo second from the right. I'm not sure what's funnier, this picture or the music, with song titles like Proud to be Loud, Over and Out, and Rock the World.

But hey, at least they turned it around by 1990...
