Congrats to Northwestern...
For beating the Buckeyes and breaking some ridiculously long losing streak again those guys.
Well done, lads!!!

I was 4 out of 5 with only Ohio State beating NW left in my 5 team parlay but I will gladly forfeit the cash won to watch the Luckeye fans try to think up an excuse for why they lost.

Congrats indeed. It's great to see a program like Ohio State go down to Northwestern.

I taped the game last night, and I figured I wouldn't find out about the result until I watched it, but I still might watch it, since it sounds like it was a good game, and seeing Ohio State lose is always a good thing -- even if, in the back of my mind, I always want to see them undefeated so that Michigan can beat them with their hopes up.
Anyway, if anyone's interested, I can give them a copy of the game, since it sounds like it was a good one.

I'm a Buckeye, but lets be honest, the Buckeyes are/were way overrated as usual.

I agree, maybe not with the as usual team but this team might lose 4-5 games this year. Next year if a bunch of guys don't leave we will be good again though. |

It was a pretty entertaining game. I figured OSU for 8-3 this year, and am sticking with that.

It's hard to be too pissed when they did come back and tie it in the final two minutes. They even threw a couple of bombs with under 20 seconds left and nearly converted one, very un-Tressel-like.
NW's offense was just on fire, and with that offense once your defense gets confused it's hard to recover. Hey, at least we didn't get trounced by Notre Dame. ![]()

So, will you start a thread like this next week if the Gophers beat Michigan? Or do you just have Buckeye envy?

I'll leave that sort of tom foolery up to a Buckeye or Gopher, thank you very much! ![]()
