Ok so I assume you're a Pittsburgh fan, but I must warn you: punching hard things that don't give is a bad idea.

I punched a brick wall on 10/28/2002. The sickening crunch my hand made, along with the rapid swelling and the inability to lift my pinky finger all suggested to me I'd broken my hand. Sure enough, I had. 8 weeks in a cast later, my hand still hurt. After physical therapy proved to be useless, my hand doctor recommended surgery since I'd angulated my 5th metacarpal by about 75 degrees (i.e. the top "knuckle" portion of my pinkie at the base of my hand was sticking in towards my palm by about 75 degrees."

Jan. 29 2003 was the surgery that revealed not only had it been angulated, it'd been twisted. Needless to say, that answered the question of why it wouldn't heal and kept hurting, but um. I've learned my lesson. And still have one of the pins that was in my hand.

Moral: don't punch things that don't give.

and just think of it this way Steve. When I did what I did, what I still think is the STUPIDEST thing in my life, that was the low point followed by what has happened up here. It could be the same thing for you guys down there.

Game 7, 2003 ALCS. Aaron Boone homer.

Foz storms out of the house (not only scaring my family, but some folks here).. goes driving for a while, and disappears into the woods, and unleash all the frustration and anger on a tree.. not quite punches it, more like trying to destroy it with my bare hands.

My hands looked pretty much like hamburger for a week afterwords.

I learned the difference between being a fanatic, and being a fan.

Fozzie you need help. If you want to punch something I suggest you punch your dick. One blow should make you stop but often two is needed to forget about what made you punch your dick in the first place,
