I'm a fair weather b-ball fan. Football is my one and only sports passion. Plus, now that i'm no longer at school I don't even know the players (since i won't take the time to follow the school in the offseason).

Regardless of the outcome they always play incredibly well at home, and have one of the more overlooked homecourt advantages in the country.

I read this hoping it wasn't against SU, it can't be. Then I checked...it is. SU will come back in the 2nd half.

Three minutes into the second half and it's down to a seven point lead. Yikes...

I don't think it's even possible to jinx Louisville's opponent.

Voice - gone. Heart - currently sitting in my spot at the RAC.

For those who followed the football season, here's an analogy. The 1st half was Michigan State, and the 2nd half was New Hampshire.

Despite the implosion, I'm impressed we were able to come back after Syracuse took the lead (up as many as 6 with 4-5 minutes left I believe).

Can someone who watched the game let me know - was that a phantom foul call on Danny W on the 3 point play with 7 seconds left? I might've only been 20 feet away, but in the commotion I didn't see anything that looked like a foul (and the ref who made the call came running in from halfcourt to signal it).

Still proud of the guys.

Yeah, I still get a bit edgy just thinking of that one. It doesn't help that every CBS college basketball commercial has the ending from that game and/or that fucking Laettner shot in it.

You'd think we could hold an 18 point lead for more than 4 minutes. We completely disintegrated under the press...very sad.
