I can't remember exactly either. It may be Matthew 10:29 or 31, but I don't think so. And I can't take credit for the wonderful photo, I googled it up.

I have a question I want to release a single but money is short, how do I either get more money, or is 1 day in the studio enough to make a single?

I don't have a way to transfer money at the moment unfortunately. And even if I could, there's only about $500 in the label account at the moment. If you only havev enough money to record for a day, I would recommend you tour for 1-3 months nonstop before you release, or you won't even cover the costs of your cd as you only get $2 for each copy sold.

My band (Alabaster Bible Church) is currently touring and practicing their songs, waiting to fine tune them for the single.

I'll now start the band profiles:

Alabaster Bible Church

ABC is a Hardcore Punk band that hails from Boston. They are on the ground-level as far as groupies and popularity go, but the talent in ABC is something that most bands envy. They also seem to have won over the hearts and minds of many women with their looks. However, with the women that Hardcore Punk attracts, that may not be a good thing necessarily. ABC seems to be a dedicated band that has a lot of upside and Sparrow Records expects them to go gold, if not platinum in the future.

Also, the 38 Critic Rating is the 3rd highest given in MM so far. But of course, Sparrow lost ground in the label ratings(however they work).

Stop, you're making us blush!

And to note: ABC does tour relentlessly, and every show garuntees some blood loss.

Lenaing on the rock will be releasing in a few months we will probably have 4 songs so we may release 2 different singles and we would like to do so with both under th sparrow label as we see them having alot of upside and like the community in genral. Two months ago we spent the whole month practicing alone, at our homes.( I accidentally had them rest 30 days with it set on practice at home). I feel this practice has made us the most talented band in the nation even though we are bored and looking for aliitle more joy in our work.

Band Profile:

Bandacoot
Bandacoot is a Hard Rock band from Memphis, TN. They have already released a single entitled, "Genocide". Genocide has sold a humble 1,250 copies so far, but it's a good start regardless. They are currently ranked 12th in both popularity and number of groupies in the Hard Rock ccategory. One thing that Bandacoot needs is a little happiness. There have been reports that if things don't straighten up, guitarist Emmett Varela might leave the band.

Ya like that? it was an accident but maybe we can profit from it. Also on another note I have been getting only 15 dollars a show, and maybe I will be able to increase that but I dunno why Im not getting more. on the upside Ill be touring 28 days this month and that should bring in some more money.

If you tour long enough, you'll start to really roll in the dough. For instance, I have a few bands who get $10,000+ a show now.

Relient K seems like they have the most potential of all my bands. With Casting Crowns, I sold out of the initial 7000 copies, so I went and ordered 50,000 more. No telling how many actually sell.

I'd like to figure out how to increase a band members popularity, because my popularity is 0.

I got the looks but I'm not popular!

You need to do some touring to get popularity up. 28 day touring is best. Or when you rest, try Hanging with groupies or seeing friends bands play.

Spotlighted Genre: Soft Rock
Soft Rock emerged in the early '70s, partially as a reaction to the extreme sounds of the late '60s. Soft rock was commercial and inoffensive, taking the sound of singer/songwriter and pop/rock but smoothing out all the edges. Bands like Bread, the Carpenters, and Chicago relied on simple, melodic songs with big, lush productions. Throughout the '70s, soft rock dominated the airwaves and it eventually metamorphosed into the synthesized sounds of adult contemporary in the '80s.
In the Music Maven community, Casting Crowns is commonly regarded as one of the top Soft Rock bands.

I've tried all that. I guess I will keep trying, we just did a 28 day tour made some major cash and are doing some intensive practicing so we can get some better songs going.
