FOFC Colossal Squid #34 (SHORT NOTICE!)

This tournament is set to start in 77 minutes. If there aren't enough players and it gets cancelled, the next one will be #34, I guess.

Code:
Tourney #14183323 FOFC Colossal Squid #34 NLHE $10+$1 Sunday, October 23rd, 11:00pm Eastern Password: shortnotice

I'm not even playing. I just set it up because there was some interest in it. Good luck, fellas!

No sweat. I tried. So the next "official" one can be #34.

How long did those new 20 table ones go?

No where else to mention this, but Lathum's run at a large-field SnG just reminds me how much it burns me that the only large-field tournament I've monied in with hundreds of entries was in *Limit Omaha Hi/Lo*. Ugh.

perhaps you need to tighten up your starting hand requirements early in the tournament.

You know.. last night got me thinking. What are the percent of hands dealt that people play? In the 500K tournament yesterday, I played 22 out of 247 hands... By nature, I'm a tight player but.. not 9% worth... Not sure if I should be amazed I made the money playing only 22 hands worth..

Guess in the end it is just quality over quantity...

maybe you need to bluff more. Doyle Brunson had a great line about a player like that he said if you play that way you can make the money most of the time but you will never win one.

I belive he was talking about David Plastique

I Just have a natural aversion to not play 2/9o.. or 3/6, 3/8, 2/10...

Try too.. unfortunately, sometimes it gets to be a question of, 'Ok, am I doing this because it is a smart move' or 'Am I doing this because I haven't played a hand?'

Unfortunately, yesterday it was the 2nd... (not to mention a thumping headache.. went to bed at 8:30.. )
