Also, they need to start adding some flavors to Coke Zero now. I drink that most of the time.

I drink Canada Dry Wild Cherry all the time (unless they stopped making it within the last month or so).

I don't think I've had a Canada Dry Wild Cherry in 20 years! Maybe they don't sell it in the shady grocery stores that I go too.

Probably not. I've only seen it in 2 liter bottles at the supermarket.

I think it tastes pretty good. Pretty much seems like a cola option for the cherry vanilla dr. pepper. I'm guessing the dr. pepper version must be doing well.

I think it could use a twist of lime, maybe a touch of honey, and should be sweetened with stevia. And it should be French vanilla.

Why "French" vanilla, because it surrenders to your taste buds?

And then Pepsi would come out with it's own version two weeks later:

Honey? That just sounds disgusting... I am a huge fan of the "flavored" soda - with Diet Pepsi with Lime being my favorite, I love Diet Coke with Lime also, but for some reason the Pepsi version tastes "limier" if that is a word. I want to taste the Black Cherry Vanilla flavor, but haven't found it in the stores yet.

This was just announced on the local TV news, pepsi just released their new Black Cherry French Vanilla Lime Honey Stevia Diet Crystal Pepsi One.

All it needs a touch of Old Bay seasoning and Wasabi and we got ourselves a great new drink. Coke will probably come out with that soon.

I haven't seen this yet. I'm curious as they're basically copying Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper and that stuff tastes good.

Dr Pepper (more specifically Diet Dr Pepper) seems to have a "going flat really fast" issue. I think it's the best tasting diet soda, but it's fucking flat by the time I'm halfway through it.

I couldn't disagree more. That combination just doesn't go well together to me. I usually like the odd combinations, like Pitch Black Mountain Dew, but that's one I can't get behind. I may try it again to see if it was just a bad day or something...

As of tonight, I can officially endorse the making of black cherry vanilla coke floats. Then again, I like a lot of floats, with I think my personal favorite being A&W Creme Soda float, tho that's a bit sweet for most people.

Like IBC but, I love Stewart's Black Cherry, Creme, Key Lime and Orange.

I still think soda tastes best when in a glass bottle.

Jones Green Apple Soda has quickly become my crack... I've succeeded in eliminating all of my soda intake except for that stuff and Stewart's flavours.

I haven't tried this one yet, but I was disappointed to read that Coke discontinued the regular and diet Vanilla. I thought the diet was much better than the regular Vanilla, because the vanilla flavor comes through much better without the sweetness of the original Coke masking the flavor. But to not have either, and if this "new" dark cherry vanilla isn't as good, I'm not going to be happy.

Yeah, flavored Coke Zero is where they need to go next. I'd be interested to see how well Coke Zero is selling. For all we know, it might be doing poorly. I don't recall seeing any commercial for it in a long time.

It better be selling well, the stuff is a godsend. If I hear its selling poorly I might go out and buy a couple years worth of supply.

I dunno. I never really cared for the vanilla flavoring in either the Vanilla Coke or this new Black Cherry Vanilla Coke. Seemed way too overpowering to me. I've had cokes where they added vanilla after the fact (say at Johnny Rocket's or Steak 'n Shake) and those go over much better.

I still much prefer just plain Cherry Coke anyway....

Ditto... I can't go back to regular Diet Coke. Even Diet Coke with Lime pales in comparison.

See, I like that the vanilla is overpowering. If it wasn't, then I'd just rather have plain Coke.

Comes out Tuesday in the States (4/11). I'm surprised the love Coke Zero is getting here. I love it, but it is getting herder and harder to find. I wish I could get it at the fountain, because I absolutely can't stand Diet now and I can't drink real Coke anymore because of diabetes.

I saw Blak in a grocery store this weekend in ATL - a four pack of small bottles (smaller than the ones you normally see at gas stations) for almost $6.

I saw coke Zero at the fountain somewhere the other day. I think it was a target. If you have a local 7/11 you might be able to talk the manager into ordering it for their fountain. Worth a shot anyways.
