McMeh
Had my first McGriddle this morning. I love sausage egg muffins so I never had the desire to try these, but I broke down this morning and got one to see what all the fuss is about.
I prefer the SEM. |

McGriddles are pretty freaking nasty IMO. THE SEM is also what I normally get when I stop at McDs for breakfast.

I'm a fan of the McGriddle... When I was having 1 1/2 hour rides in, I stopped at McD's all too frequently and the Bacon Egg and Cheese McGriddle became a favorite...

Mc Donald's needs to stop trying to make the next super special item of food, and rely on making good consistent food. Instead of the Big N Tasty, Big Mac, etc. have a standard 1/4 pd. burger. Have lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, and ketchup be the standard fixings, and have a $.25 charge for each of cheese and bacon. If you want to get exotic have salsa or chili be an optional topping too.
I bet their sales would go through the roof. While I am ranting, Wendy's burgers have really gone downhill in the last two years. |

Um, doesn't that pretty much describe the Big N Tasty? (sans the mustard)

How can anybody eat McDonalds?
The last time I ate a burger was over a decade ago. My stomach instantly turned over from that Quarter Pounder. I had not had a breakfast sandwich in a while, but used to love them... SO I got a sausage, egg & cheese bagel. I threw it out. It taseted like it was just fake. Like what I would expect a wax-fruit version of a breakfast sandwich to taste like. Instead I go to a little coffee shop and get them to make a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich on a toasted roll. The actually use real bacon, real eggs, and real cheese! Imagine the concept!! |

I thought they had a special sauce on that burger too. That or they have way too much of a funky mayo on it. |

A McGriddles is like an explosion of some type of syrup into your mouth. And I don't mean the good kind.

Oh no.. the B-N-T has lettuce, tomato, pickel, onion, mayo, and cheese if you want it.
I get it without cheese or mayo.. but it's the BEST hangover food, imo. ..along with fries and a coke. It's the ONLY time I eat Mc anything besides an occasional Egg Mc Muffin. |

That's it, no ketchup or mustard. They also need to go easy on the mayo. I hate it when I bite into a burger and mayo comes oozing out. Ketchup or mustard is ok like that, mayo no.

This thread is McHeresy.
I prefer the enormous omlet sandwhich and the the ham egg cheese croissant from BK, but if I'm going McD's, it's definitely the BEC McGriddle. |

hehe I just don't like that BK uses some sort of egg-like mix and microwaved. McD's toasts real english muffins and uses real eggs ( who knows about the sausage... it's a don't ask don't tell relationship ). |
