To SkyDog/Fritz/whoever else might care:
Just to get it out there, I wasn't intending to stir up any trouble with my poll about the Wigs. I think the board loses a little something without Wignasty, but I know he left of his own accord. I thought the poll would reflect that. And I agree that my poll was not the best idea. Again, I meant no harm. Open mouth up, insert tentacle. ![]() |

I am not fond of popularity contests. I know that was not the intent, but it was an effect.

I, for one, like the locking of threads. That way, no one can steal them.

What a quandry - I like moderators locking threads, but I also like popularity polls
. That said, I don't think either wig belongs at FOFC for the simple reason that they do not think the way we all do. Confrontation makes me feel uneasy "down there". |
